Every business prices differently. Choose the path that matches your situation and we will walk you through the exact steps, with examples you can copy and a check for what you should see at the end.

I already have a price list

You have a spreadsheet, PDF, photo, or website page with your prices. Import it and review the draft Book.

I have no price book yet

You price by feel and want help designing a consistent price book from scratch.

I quote from experience

You know what the job should cost but have never written it down. Explain it and get it captured.
Not sure which path is yours? Read the worked example to see the full journey end to end, then come back.

What happens next

All three paths lead to the same place: a draft Book in Test mode that you review, calibrate, verify, and publish. After that you send quotes and track commitments. The steps differ only in how the first draft is created.
  • Path 1 (price list) starts with Import existing pricing.
  • Path 2 (no price book) starts with Help me design my pricing.
  • Path 3 (experience) starts with Explain how we quote.
Each walkthrough links to the full reference pages for every step, so you can dig deeper only when you want to.

What you need before you start

  • A Kordless account and a workspace with an active plan. See Create or switch workspace.
  • Decide which environment you are using. New Books are drafted in Test by default. Test is free, safe, and the right place to learn. See Test and Live.

If you are stuck before you start

Follow Create or switch workspace. It covers sign-up, your first workspace, and the billing plan.
Read Test and Live. In short: Test is your sandbox, Live is real customers and data. You cannot publish a Book or send real quotes in Test.
