What Kordless does
A customer sends photos of their car. Kordless — “the agent” throughout these docs — identifies what they’re asking for, asks your qualifying questions, prices the job from your price book, collects a deposit, and helps them book a bay. You stay in control: high-value or unclear requests wait for your approval, and every conversation, price, payment, and booking stays visible to you. The agent never invents a price. Quotes come from the prices you publish, with ranges and validity windows to handle the fact that a photo can’t tell the whole story until the car is on the lift. The loop
1
A request comes in
Photos and questions arrive from your website chat, a form, or a message. The agent reads them and starts a conversation.
2
It gets qualified
The agent asks your vehicle, service, coverage, and condition questions until it knows enough to price the work.
3
A price goes out
The agent quotes from your price book. Routine jobs can go out on their own; high-value or low-confidence quotes wait for your approval.
4
The customer commits
The customer pays a deposit and picks a slot from the quote link. That deposit is the moment an inquiry becomes a booked job.
5
The job gets scheduled
The booking lands on your schedule, the vehicle gets a record, and the balance is ready to collect when the work is done.
6
The customer comes back
When that coating or film is due for service, Kordless reaches back out — turning one job into the next one.
Where things live
Kordless uses a few names for the places you’ll work. You’ll see them across the app and these docs:Next steps
